PUBG Mobile: Why trying to buy the Enforcer Set might be pointless

Tencent Games’ PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile recently launched a new outfit bundle called the Enforcer set. The package consists of a staggering outfit in a classic blue and black combination and flamboyant Enforcer head gear / band to go with it.

Where to find the Enforcer Set

Once the PUBG Mobile app is launched, a trolley icon with ‘shop’ written on it will be seen on the extreme right, just below a crate icon. Clicking on the shop icon will take one to the featured section on the drop down menu, and that should ideally display the set by default.

There will be a “from crates” button on the bottom right; clicking on the same will take one to classic crates, where the Enforcer set can be found. It costs 120 UC to open the Classic Crate once and 1,080 UC (on offer) to open it 10 times in a row.

Is it a good idea to spend UC on the Enforcer Set?

PUBG Mobile has been marketing the Enforcer Set along with the Dawn Stalker Set, The Hoodlum Outfit and the Enforcer headband with an “Increased Chance” tag. That suggests that the chances of these exclusive outfits appearing upon opening the Classic Crate are relatively high.

Many PUBG Mobile streamers on YouTube have streamed the opening of the Classic Crates and most of them have not gotten their hands on the Enforcer Set even once. A lot of them have been getting silver fragments, the Hoodlum Outfit, the Warrior Girl Shirt, etc but never the Enforcer Set.

A common tactic that was found to be used was clicking on a desired outfit / item multiple times before opening the crate, but that seemed to yield no result. With PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 8 all set to conclude in a couple of days, it would be advisable to not waste UCs or Crate coupons to acquire any of the outfits, skins or accessories since “they won’t last long!” as mentioned in PUBG Mobile’s tweet. Although player ranking and RP holdings will be reset to scratch upon the new season’s arrival, the UC, BP, sliver fragments or any coupons collected will not be reset.

HOW PLAYING VIDEO GAMES CAN BE A GOOD THING

Most of the time you probably look at games as a waste of time, or many people do anyway. They consume time that could be used for other things, like reading or spending time in the outdoors. However, there are important things that you can get out of your time playing video games. Yes, if your video game playing is keeping you from caring for your kids, keeping your kids from doing their homework, or it’s affecting the cleanliness of your home, then it could be a bad thing. But if you are monitoring your time, and your children’s time, playing games, you can all get something good out of that game play.

BUILDS CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Whether you are playing games on a gaming console, on your computer, or you are simply playing one of your favorite Android games on your smartphone or tablet, you are developing your critical thinking skills. You have to decide which door to open, what corridor to go down, and which zombies you have the time to stop and kills.

These critical thinking skills can help you in the real world. You’ll learn more about fight or flight. And, you’ll even learn more about why it’s sometimes important to think before you act, and why sometimes you have to act because there is no time to think.

INCREASES HAND-EYE COORDINATION

If you are playing games on a console using a wand or controller, or even using a wand while gaming on your computer, you are developing your hand-eye coordination in an extreme way. Even simply pushing letters and arrow buttons on a computer keyboard can help with hand-eye coordination though.

DEVELOPS CREATIVITY

Video game creation is an art form. That being said, like other forms of art, playing video games can inspire creativity. While some might say that certain video games inspire people to treat women badly and that some of them may even inspire people to hurt others, they too can inspire people to become artists, writers, movie producers, and more.

Even musicians and songwriters have been inspired to create songs because of their love for video games. Let your love of video games help inspire you. Maybe it will turn you into a sketch artist, sculptor or painter. The sky’s the limit when it comes to individual creativity.

BEST VIDEO GAMES THAT TRAIN YOUR BRAIN

Studies have shown that playing video games provides several benefits. Other than entertaining people, it also helps train the brain and improve social skills. In addition, other research have noted the educational and therapeutic uses of these video games.

woman playing video game

People in search of brain challenging games have a wide choice today. There are the so-called brain apps that can help players perform a variety of tasks and even take control of their emotional state. They are called as such as their main objective is to train a person’s brain.

In recent years, the number of video games that challenge the brain has grown. The Nintendo DS pioneered the Brain Age game and since that time, more quality titles have been developed. Those using the iOS have plenty of options to choose from inside the App Store.

There are plenty of brain teasing video games you can find online these days. Whatever your objective is, you can surely find one that will give you a fun and enriching time. Game-focused websites and those that share tips such as F3Y are great online resources to visit.

BRAIN SCHOOL

This app features 20 addictive puzzles that will challenge your brain. The games are divided into four years and have five difficulty levels. It’s like you’re attending college progressing into the more difficult levels.

COGNIFIT BRAIN FITNESS

This app features fun games specially designed by neuroscientists aimed at improving memory and concentration. Users have the opportunity to monitor their progress and check insights concerning their brain health.

At the beginning, a user is given a quiz afterwhich the app adapts the difficulty level of the game to your profile. Improvement can be seen for users who play the games at least twice to three times per week.

LUMINOSITY

Luminosity is a popular app with three mini games. It helps improve memory, attention, problem solving and thinking skills.

Simply by playing one session each day, a user can already improve his mental skills and monitor their progress onward. Apart from better memory, users can also expect to improve their mood.

PUBG: BEST PLACES TO DROP IN VIKENDI

Covered in a thick layer of snow, Vikendi is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ latest map for players to experience. This vast and chilly map brings with it several new additions, including snow-based vehicles and the G36C, a replacement of the SCAR-L. But winning takes more than just having a weapon and a vehicle, it takes knowing the map, learning the best places to drop, and getting decked out with gear quickly.

Let’s take a look at some of the landmarks scattered around Vikendi, and what type of firefight you might expect upon landing!

Cosmodrome Situated in the far north of Vikendi, the Cosmodrome offers players a large and spacious area to loot. With direct access to a main road, reaching the eastern side of the island isn’t a problem, and with two bridges in close proximity, venturing over to the west is relatively simple. While in the cosmodrome, take some time to search the tall building, as it is bound to house some valuable gear.

Volnova Volvnova is one of the larger cities in Vikendi, with buildings packed in tightly to one another. Players looking for a good place to loot would do well to consider Volnova, though it will likely be a prime target if the drop takes you over the southern side of the island. Because the buildings are so crammed tight, expect a lot of running between, and fighting on top of, rooftops. The alleyways, though claustrophobic, offer a great option for players looking to slip away.

The Incredible Journey Of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (also known as PUBG) is undeniably the biggest gaming surprise of 2017. “Surprise” is probably the best word that can be used to describe the game developed by Bluehole. PUBG came out as an early access title in March 2017 and immediately became a huge hit within the gaming world (and our YouTube channel). The premise of the title is really simple: up to 100 players jump out of an airplane onto a huge island; by the end of each match, the last player standing or the last team standing wins. PUBG is not a perfect game, as many of the user reviews on Steam can testify. Performance issues, glitches, and poor optimization are some of the problems that I have seen fans report since day one. At the same time, none of these annoyances have stopped over 30 million players from joining the most downloaded Steam title of the year. As a content creator myself, I look at PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds as a game defined by its moments. As I explained in a previous blog post, winning a match in PUBG is comparable to winning a World Cup in any sport. It’s tense, nerve-wracking and also, incredibly satisfying. These moments are what makes PUBG so incredibly popular on YouTube and Twitch. Navigating through the gaming section of YouTube or the most watched games on Twitch will prove how influential, mainstream and talked-about PUBG is. From Best Plays, to Funny Moments, it is undeniable that YouTubers and streamers play a huge role in the game’s success. Building a community around PUBG is very simple, and that is what makes the game so “shareable and consumable” for the popular YouTuber or the unknown (no pun intended) casual player. PUBG also holds several Guinness World Records titles such as: fastest time to sell 1 million units for a Steam Early Access game, fastest Steam Early Access game to gross $100 million (took 79 days) and most actively played game on Steam with 2,617,400 players (breaking Dota 2’s previous record of 1,291,328). As of today, December 22nd 2017, PUBG has finally left early access, and is now available to the public with its 1.0 version. It’s a huge improvement for the game, and one that millions around the world are currently celebrating. After 9 months of tweaking, this huge update brings a brand new map, five new weapons, three new vehicles, alongside several gameplay changes. With the first official version of PUBG, we have also seen the first bunch of reviews. Polygon gave the game a 10/10, praising how the game’s imperfection is also what makes PUBG so special. Needless to say, the review was met with a good amount of controversy on the internet, which is often the case when a game receives a perfect score. PUBG’S current Metacritic rating sits at 89, which is the same score I would give the game. Despite its technical shortcomings, I have personally enjoyed my time with PUBG. The game offers an addictive, fun and social gaming experience that fits hardcore and casual gamers. Because of its impact, appeal and massive player base, PUBG has joined the same realm shared by games such as Call of Duty and Counter-Strike. You can be sure we will hear about PUBG for a long, long time.

Speaking of PUBG: Don’t forget to join our Parsec Review Competition, where the best and most helpful review will be granted a free copy of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Good luck to all the participants!
